First Wholesale's $300.00 up front appraisal deposit is charged as the HVCC (Home Valuation Code of Conduct) requires that we order your appraisal through independent appraisal management companies.  Each of our lenders contracts through different AMC's (Appraisal Management Companies) for their appraisals thus it is important to note that appraisal fees may vary from $300.00-$400.00 depending on the type of appraisal that is required and the fees that are charged by the specific appraisal management company.  Please consult your loan officer for specific details.
